Ben
Cole
Born in Israel, Ben came to the USA in 1980 with the purpose of completing his
studies and becoming a music producer.
"I accepted a job with a moving company, and later other positions, in order to
support myself through my graduation from UCLA in 1984," he explains.
Answering an ad resulted in his attending an Herbalife Opportunity Meeting. The next day
he became a Distributor and went to work with a dedication that has carried him through
the years, through many challenges, right on through to the President's Team.
"January of 1993 was the first month I earned over $100,000 and it's been
unbelievable ever since," he says.
"The lifestyle Herbalife allowed me is beyond anything I've dreamed about!" Ben
continues. "It includes piloting helicopters and airplanes, and living just a few
steps from Phil Collins and Ringo Starr.
"Being a President's Team member is not only being at the top, but what you become in
the process of getting there," he says. "The personal growth I've achieved
cannot be bought with anything material, and even if I lost all of it, I know exactly how
to get it all back!
"Above the money, freedom and prestige," Ben remarks, "is the good feeling
knowing you got to this lifestyle by showing others how to feel better, look better and
become successful themselves!"

Young and Mi Kyung Kim
"We earned $850,000 in 1994," says Mi Kyung. "It has allowed us to
purchase a $1.5 million home in California, USA."
When Young and Mi Kyung first came to America they had a difficult time finding jobs.
Though they had studied English in Korea, there was very little opportunity to practice
and the language barrier became a problem in the United States.
Young tried many different jobs but the pay was very low. Mi Kyung had studied piano since
she was six years old, so she began teaching piano to people in the Korean community.
One day a former student called her to let her know about Herbalife. She first said no
because she didn't want to sell anything. But when he called again she agreed to try the
products. Her friends wanted to buy the products when they saw that she lost 12 pounds, so
she reluctantly became a Distributor.
Says Mi Kyung, "Young tried the products and also had good results, so when he saw I
was really determined to succeed with this business, he decided to join me. Working
together, we've made rapid progress.
"This is a great opportunity for Korean women," adds Mi Kyung, "because
traditionally it is not accepted that women work outside the home after they are married.
With Herbalife, they can work from home and contribute to the family income or build their
own financial independence.
"We are so happy about our new lifestyle, and grateful for these products and this
opportunity," says Mi Kyung. "It's an honor to be members of the President's
Team!"

Esther and John Kilgour
"In 1996, we earned $185,412. Our business has snowballed," says John.
Before Herbalife, John was an auto mechanic by trade, working hard to make his own shop
profitable. When the city decided to put a highway right through the center of it, his
shop was forced to close. Esther was a supervisor at AT&T and was offered the chance
to relocate to Colorado, USA. So they did.
After an exhaustive attempt to find a job in Colorado, John was miserable. An Herbalife ad
led him to a meeting held by President's Team member, John Peterson. When he raced home to
tell Esther about the explosive business opportunity he had just discovered, she told him
to get a "real job."
Yet he was determined. He began using the products and his good results convinced Esther
to give the program a try.
"To my amazement, I started losing weight," says Esther. "Then 14 women I
worked with wanted to try the products. I started selling, but still kept trying to get
John to find a regular job."
As their Herbalife income grew, Esther began to see the potential and viability of the
business. She decided to join John in the business and, after 14 years with AT&T, she
quit.
"I was negative at first, but I'm totally committed now," says Esther.
"We've been able to pay off all our debts including our house. And now we can go
wherever we like and pay cash. This is the American dream!" |
